Ok, a bit about me and my time as a DJ........
I started DJ-ing back in 1988, just when the house scene was just starting to take off. 1989 turned out to be just about my favourite year for dance music and probably still is, with all the new Italian piano house music coming in, this is when I really got hooked.
I started off doing mobile work, as most DJ's did back then. Starting off with turntables you can afford and saving like mad to get the all important Technics turntables.
In my opinion mobile work has provided me with invaluable experience as a DJ, with all the different crowds and the very many varied types of music you have to play.
I wanted to get into the club scene as I wanted to play dance music & loved mixing. So in the early to mid 90's after going for auditions I succeded and was fortunate enough to obtain enough work to turn professional.
Ive played numerous venues, mainstream and dance venues including the big leisure companies and held many resedencies during the last few years and still love playing out live as much as I did in the late 80's.
I obviously love playing dance music, infact any type of music and working the crowd with the music being played, it's a buzz you cannot get from anything else.
I'm now 99% of the time playing clubs & bars etc, but no matter what the venue, the N0 1 priroity as a DJ always remains the same.......
always leave the crowd wanting more.
